Citystate Arts and Events Management Pte Ltd (CAEMPL) is a performance Arts management company that presents & promotes the Arts through musical theatre in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines.
The list of high profile credits includes "The Sound of Music" in 2005, "West Side Story" in 2006, "The King & I" and "Nutcracker – Christmas Fairytale on Ice" in 2007.
The company works with talented and passionate producers who are committed to producing first class shows to our audiences in the region.
As of May 2009, CAEMPL manages, a non-profit charity and IPC registered organization; "OperaViva Ltd" - bringing Baroque, Contemporary and Asian inspired opera compositions and musicals to the everyday person.
CAEMPL also provides corporate marketing services for other performances in Singapore which are not presented by Citystate Arts & Events Management.
CAEM’s goal is to continue to build a reputation of promoting first class productions by carefully selecting shows which are of the highest quality.The company has succesfully staged well known Broadway musicals such as, "The Sound of Music", "West Side Story" and "The King and I".

2005 Tony Award winner "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" musical comedy centers on a fictional spelling bee in Putnam County, New York. Six kids in the throes of puberty face off in the battle of their lives. They compete against each other as well as members of the audience. Three adults help adjudicate the proceedings: A nostalgic former spelling bee winner, a mildly insane Vice Principal and The Official Comfort Counselor completing his community service to the state of New York.

The Nutcracker is a fairy tale-ballet in two acts, three scenes, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in 1891 – 92. Alexandre Dumas père"s adaptation of the story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King " by E.T.A. Hoffmann was set to music by Tchaikovsky (staged by Marius Petipa and commissioned by the director of the Imperial Theatres Ivan Vsevolozhsky in 1891). In Western countries, The Nutcracker has become perhaps the most popular of all ballets, performed primarily around Christmas time.

The Broadway musical West Side Story is a spiritual piece conceived
by the lengendary greats of Jerome Robbins, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim and written
by Arthur Laurents. A modern take on Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, this gripping
extravaganza is choreographed and directed by the acclaimed Joey McKneely base on the
original choreography of Jerome Robbins with musical directions by Donald Chan who
has conducted more than a 1000 productions of West Side Story.

magnificient piece with irresistable score, large female chorus and great roles for
children. An everlasting favourite, its stage play was base on a German film "Die
Trapp Familie" and tells the true story of the von Trapps, an Austrian Family that had
fled their homeland following the Nazi Anschuluss of World War II and found haven in America.
